The current COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented in our lifetime and has affected a number of changes and restrictions in the community and this includes Funeral Services. The death of your loved one is certainly a difficult time and can be stressful for you, your family and friends.
At Glenelg Funerals, we are working together with you, our families, to ensure not only your safety, but the safety of everyone in our community. We are here to guide, support and advise like we have been for many years.
We are taking all the necessary precautions within our Funeral Home to ensure that we minimise the risk of transmission of the virus.
The Australian Funeral Directors Association has been in close, regular contact with the Federal Government, seeking advice on how the funeral industry needs to react in the coming days, weeks and months.
Due to the Australian Government’s limits on the size of indoor public gatherings, we are considering all available options. It is our aim to continue to serve our families in their time of need. We will discuss and work through these options with each of you, to ensure the best possible outcome in these trying times.
